  Supported Browsers

Outlook Web Access can be used by any web browser that supports 128-bit SSL encryption.

This level of encryption helps protect your login information and email messages from being captured as they are being transmitted across the internet.

The following browsers are supported and are known to be compatible with Outlook Web Access:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 5.0 and later)
You may check for 128-bit cipher strength by clicking "Help", "About Internet Explorer"
  • Firefox 1.0
  • Mozilla (all versions)
  • Netscape 6.0 and higher
  Potential Problems

The following browsers may have problems with Outlook Web:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and earlier versions
You may check for 128-bit cipher strength by clicking "Help", "About Internet Explorer."
  • Netscape 4.x browsers
You may check for 128-bit cipher strength by clicking "Help", "About Communicator " (or Netscape). If there is a section that says "This version supports U.S. Security," your browser has 128-bit cipher strength.
